Is Galaxy S7 the best?

I think it's what I'm going to get, but I'd like to see you try to convince me otherwise.

The s7 is a nice phone, however, I'm a bit behind (I forgot that mwc happened and I've been busy, so I haven't read as many reviews as I would have liked). Anyways, I do believe that it is a good phone. It is definitely an upgrade from the s6 and the s6 edge. It comes with a bigger battery, supposedly a better screen (I don't know if there is a noticeable difference, considering that 1080 and 2k shows a very tiny difference at arms length), it is also "water cooled" if you want to call it that, the phones come with new processors and depending on the phone, you either get Exynos 8890 or the snapdragon 820. Don't worry, the snapdragon does not overheat, and if it does have heat problems, again, the "water cooled" system will keep it under temp. I should point out that the snapdragon has a better gpu versus the Exynos, but the Samsung processor is better at normal tasks such as web browsing. No noticeable difference, though. The camera is also an upgrade, coming with a new Samsung or sony sensor. I don't know if there is a difference because I'm behind the details. Did I mention there is now a removable storage? Anyways, my only complaints are the glass design. It seems very fragile, and dropping it may result in cracks no matter the height. 2, the glass catches fingerprints easily, people still hate TouchWiz, so that could be a con for you, and for some reason, people find non-removable batteries a con. Well, if the battery is bad, or the lifespan dies out in a year or less, then yes, that's a con also. But I should mention the battery size is increased, so you shouldn't worry about needing to replace it due to low battery.

Conclusion. It is a very good phone, and I find no reason not to buy it. The only contenders I would suggest are the nexus 6p, the LG g5 (I need to read about that, but I've only heard good things so far), LG g4 (it is a year old) the HTC m9 (That's my current phone, It's a year old, but I like it, camera is bad, but other than that, I have no complaints, other people hate it though due to lack of new tech), and finally, the previous s6 and s6 edge. I'm not an iPhone person, but there's the new iPhone coming out soon. But yeah, great phone, if you have the cash, I'd go for it.

I just got an S7 Edge. Not at all impressed with its battery life. Sure, is has 3500mAh but its 2560x1440 resolution kills your battery even when your not using it for the typical high power apps like Facebook and games. Nobody needs that high of resolution on their phone screen. I had my Power Saving Mode turned ON, and was only using Chrome to surf the web and it drained at around 1% every 6 minutes. That's 10% of your battery per hour. The camera is great and all. I'm not impressed with its battery longevity and if it doesn't improve in the next 3 days, I'm returning it.

From the specs, the S7 is the best Galaxy so far and possibly the best Android phone so far.

If you compare Galaxy S7 with S6, then features are almost same. So, get Galaxy S6

It's good phone but like most Androids too much bloat. But a improvement over the S6 for sure.

    Best for what?

But you've already decided it's best for you and nobody here has any idea how you came to that conclusion and more importantly nobody here cares why you did.

Buy whatever you like. The decision only matters to you.
