HP Pavilion DV7-6B56NR laptop bios update failed win+B wont work on CD or USB how do I unbrick?
Was updating from original bios to latest. Original HDD gone. Was not able to get the recovery partition off of it so tried HP uefi update on hard disk followed instructions as I understood them. Run > install to USB add bios bin file to bios folder / New hit win+b+power on bricked laptop no luck

Follow these instruction step by step. You will need a thumb drive to do this. I would go with at least a 4GB one.

I have seen this work multiple times when the hard drive did not have the HP Tools partition.
