What is the difference between IRONY and SATIRE?

    Satire is normally associated with writing or speech. Irony is usually associated with action and satire talks about irony. For example, if you are on a walk with friends and one friend lectures everyone on being careful where they walk, then that friend falls down, that is irony. You talking about it later would be satire. Now, many people blur those lines and some will see little difference.
