Was the world better/the same/worse after 9/11?

Awareness comes at a dear price. Yes the world is better now. After the attack, islam and muslims got the attention they wanted. Before that, no one would have treated muslim with the amount of attention that they do today.

The attack showed us how it only took a few dozen of people can hijack a plane, killed 3000+ people (indirectly). Upon further inspection, you can also understand why because the quran has a very low opinion on disbelievers and the fact that it is so self-righteous. Apologists that claim it's peaceful, tolerant and never violent are liars because it all depends on your interpretation. The quran does have the potential to spark hatred. Perhaps some wont take it seriously, some will. It's worth mentioning that the leader of an islamic terrorist group(dont recall the name), has a doctorate degree in islamic studies.

Today, it's most disappointing to see some muslims actually supports terrorism based on a few reasons, one of it being the us foreign policy and military. I'd say it's bad retaliation. Targetting civilians, not soldiers, is not going to bring you any long term victory. In the long term, people will only hate muslims more.

For a while after 9/11, the world was a better place because people were actually nicer to each other. That passed before too long and now people are scared of attacks so it is worse since 9/11.

Actually, 9/11 was a good thing that happened to all of us. It got us curious to find out what motivated the Muslims to do what they did.

Before that, most of us didn't know about the Qur'an nor Islam. I was one of those who didn't know about Islam and thought that the Muslims were a harmless lot of over religious people with crazy customs and a hilarious prayer style. The one big mistake we all made back then was to think the Muslims were like the rest of us and ignore them.

After 9/11, when we all studied the Qur'an, we were all shocked to see how insane and murderous that filthy that book was and then we learned about what Mohammed [pbuh]* was really like. That's when we realized that the Muslims were a present and growing danger to all of us and that we need to fight them and exterminate Islam or risk being killed ourselves.

Today, more and more people are becoming aware of what Islam really is and what the Muslims really are.

The Movement to Stop the Spread of Islam and the opposition to Islam and the Muslims is growing every day everywhere. Muslims are now actively profiled and Hate Crimes against them are on the rise everywhere. Openly anti Islamic Political Parties are growing stronger every day as the mainline political parties are losing credibility because of their failure to address the Muslim Menace.

We are now heading for WW3 of the rest of the World against Islam and soon we will see Civil War break out everywhere where the Muslims will be hunted down killed and then, the World will unite and Liberate the lands with Muslim Majority and exterminate the Muslims there and then, finally, we will finally invade the Middle East. blanket bomb the entire place and then send our troops to mop up and exterminate all the Muslims surviving.

We will, also, suffer heavy casualties, but, the Muslims will be hunted down and killed everywhere and Islam will be exterminated, once and for all.

Just as the Reichstag fire made the world a worse place for Jews. It gave all idiots an excuse to blanket blame all Jews.

Increase in interest. When my mother took Middle Eastern History in the 1985 there were 27 students in the class. When I took it in 2012 there were 243 students in the lecture hall, and this is at the same college. Increase in security in airports. My grandfather had a titanium hip implanted in 1993. He could walk through any airport in the world and no one cared. In 2002 he went through security at LAX it took two hours, they stripped him almost completely naked before they realized the problem was in him and not on him.

It's was better and then Al Qaeda decided to ruin it by forcing America to war! Now it is worse.

For a short while, all was looking good. But now I think people have forgotten and moved on and it has gotten worse.

Actually better. It woke many up to the Muslim Menace. Others like the sicko PC leftists will never wake up and need to be pushed aside for they are self destructive non-thinkers and will take us down with them if we do not work to diminish them.
