is 25/26 too older to try to pursue a career in music....specifically in genres like heavy metal/hard rock/hardcore punk?

more info.....i'm 25, no stage, studio/recording experience, i'm mediocre at best

    Not impossible to have "a career" in music. But the odds aren't good for being a performer if you're just starting out at that age.
