Ask her out for coffee. It's 30 minutes long and you will know if she is giving you positive signals aimed at a proper date in the future or not.
If she rejects the coffee date, you smile and reply "Oh well. It's my loss. Take care, Susie. Bye." She will remember how you acted like a gentleman and maybe tell one of her girlfriends about you.

Find out by asking her about what her status is now first to see if she's available. Then if she is, ask her out.
