FTM guys- How do you deal with dysphoria?
I'm a young trans guy, and I've been going through a bit lately. Only my closest friends know, my parents don't, so I don't have a binder or anything, and just looking at myself in the mirror makes me feel bad. I've also kind of realized I'm not really good at anything "masculine", like sports and things like that. I know there are a lot of guys that don't like masculine things, but I'm still feeling really self conscious about it. Even if you didn't read all of that, thanks anyways.

I'm sorry no one has helped you yet, don't listen to these assholes. I didn't get to feel slightly comfortable until 18 when I got my first binder. To hide your chest, you can wear suppressing sports bras (i wore two because my chest was bigger) and a tight under shirt, with a baggy over shirt. maybe a hoodie if you like more security. Also deepening your voice naturally can help with dysphoria. When you're listening to music try learning to sing the male parts of songs in the same pitch. It helps somewhat. And get a nice hair cut if you can. If not, when you're alone you can grab a hat and put your hair in the hat and just try seeing yourself as a boy. Also learning mannerisms help a lot. I hope for the best and good luck. Also if it seems like a safe option I would suggest telling any of your family members. The first person I came out to was my brother because I knew I was safe telling him. And have people call you by a manlier name. It also boosts confidence.

Steve, I would suggest trying online support forums, they helped me a lot when I was in transition.
