How could someone lock up an engine? What if the gas tank locks and they can't get to that?

Some people put a burglar alarm system in their car that can cut off the electricity or fuel to the engine. If it is locked, you have to find out how, by tracing where you have gas and where you do not. Then you can route around it if you can't remove their lock.

not sure what you mean by "lock up" an engine ?? if an engine has no oil in it, it will seize....it seems like you may be referring to someone putting sugar into a gas tank or ??? more explanation will help with answers
