I told a guy to go eat and he asked me why i was treating him like a child?

He told me he hadnt eatten all day so when he said he was going to get food i told him ok go and get some food in you. Then he asked me why am i talking to him like a child. Wtf is up with that i told him just to go get some food. Them he said he get awkward when eomen treat him like a baby. I told him i know he isnt a child i know you are 30. Why the hell would he say that? I thought that was rude of him and i apologized and he said just chill friend and he calls me buddy like wtf. He calls me buddy alot even though i am a female? Why is he acting this way i think hes being a jerk. My question is why is he being this way in your opinion? Im 21 female and hes a 30.
