Bush was celebrated in the streets at one point over there. Iraq was declared stable and secure and the people wanted the US troops gone. Iraq wasn;t as stable and secure as we were lead to believe and the US troops, no matter how unfavorable they might have been viewed at the time, were the ones keeping it that way.
