With so many Christians fighting for the religious right to discriminate... Are you saying you want Sharia Law?
Because that is what you are bringing upon our country. The right to discriminate and only hold true to laws and commandments found in your religious texts. America does not have a state religion (thank god) so whose religion trumps (pun intended) the other? If one religion gets the right to do as they so see fit does not every religion?
And how long before you start holding other verses as strongly as you cling to the anti-gay verses? Verses like:
1. Ephesians 6:5-6
5 Slaves, obey your earthly masters with respect and fear, and with sincerity of heart, just as you would obey Christ. 6 Obey them not only to win their favor when their eye is on you, but as slaves of Christ, doing the will of God from your heart.
Or the Mormon religion which feels that all Native Americans are that color due to their sins, burned by gods fury?
Apparently I need to define the word discriminate...: Discrimination is the unjust or prejudicial treatment of different categories of people or things. treatment or consideration of, or making a distinction in favor of or against, a person or thing based on the group, class, or category to which that person or thing belongs rather than on individual merit.
Last update. If the LGBTQ community formed a religion, would you stand up for their religious rights?

There aren't so many Christians fighting for the right to discriminate. Glad I could clear that up

They aren't really....at least not yet. What you're hearing is the never-ending rhetoric of a few very vocal and ignorant Christians. Most honest Christians do not want to see that, if for no other reason nobody can agree, and somebody's beliefs are going to be left out. It is an effort to create a level of immunity for their actions by pulling the god card.

They want primacy of their rights over others. They are refusing to accept the fact that their right of freedom of religion ends where it impinges on someone else's rights.

you make some incorrect assumptions here.....for instance the LDS do NOT think that "all Native Americans are that color due to their sins, burned by gods fury". perhaps you should do some actual research rather than make up this crap and try to pass it off as a legitimate question.

Any kind of discrimination is bad...who are you to discriminate against someone else...who made you god? We are all entitled to our beliefs....

Christians like to fight fire with fire. If they could, they would revert back to their ancient ways and slay Muslims left and right.
