Boxing: Overrated fighters?

Overrated means, they're hyped too much or being put on top forcefully despite not actually achieving "the top" doesn't mean they're no good. So who do you feel are overrated?

IMO

Deontay Wilder-Need I say more?

Golovkin- His fans act likes he's a HOFer already and act as if his style has been unseen.

Danny Garcia-Beat top guys but lately has looked like sh*t especially against mediocre

Thurman- beat who? Best wins are Diego Chaves which is a good win but then guerrero, diaz and collazo? Cmon.

    Kell Brook

    Anthony Joshua

    Deontay Wilder

Almost 100 fights between them yet only 2 top fighters faced. Despite this two are world titlists and one has a shot next month, they're all undefeated because they haven't fought anyone. Joshua's OK as his career is still young but the other two have at least 35 each. I have more confidence in Brook vs the best than I do Wilder vs the best but they're both rated too highly for what they've achieved. Brook is rated the number one welterweight in the world by The Ring for example, I mean come on, really?

Golovkin is not overrated as far as his skill set is concerned. His status in the historical context of boxing history is premature and should not even be mentioned (as for anyone who is still in their active prime).

His style (the Crowder) has been seen before - many times. It s just that he had such an extensive amateur career that he s been able to add features of other styles to it (i.e he has a very dominant outside jab and can use lateral movement from the outside to circle an opponent - features of outside boxers and boxer-punchers). Usually, crowders like Joe Calzaghe and Steve Collins overwhelm opponents by throwing incredible amounts of punches, taking away space, and coming in from different angles. GGG does this but also possesses a very good mid-range attack - like a diluted Julio Cesar Chavez Sr. or a very, very diluted Joe Louis.

His problem is that he hasn t fought any A-level prime fighters. But then, nobody in the middleweight division is itching to get in the ring with him.
