Are jobs hard to find in Norway?

The current unemployment in Norway is about 4.5 percent, which is nearly half that of e.g. Belgium. But it is increasing very fast as the offshore oil industry is now at its end, for two reasons: a) the price of oil is very low and b) there isn't much more oil left in the North Sea.

Those are the reasons the Norwegian Kroner has gone down about 20 percent, relative to the Euro and the Dollar, this past year.

So, the questions are: Are you within Schengen Agreement and allowed to work in Norway? What is your skill and, where would you like to live in Norway? The latter is because if say, you are a doctor in medicine and willing to work up north, say in the Finnmark province, then you'll get a chance to get a job. But then ... you must first read about the climate. For two months of the year, you won't see daylight and for another two months, you won't see the night. And ... it's cold in the winter! ;-)
