"SKYRIM" {-- SPOILER -- } Assassination.?
Did you feel *cheated* when Assassinating the Emperor had absolutely No Effect on the story or any of the NPC.
In "Oblivion" that was the top subject in the game.
In "Skyrim" after the deed was done, nothing. Life as Usual.

Yeah, I don't even bother with the Brotherhood anymore now that I've gotten all the achievements. The last two playthroughs I just killed Astrid and then got the reward from Commander Miro (which at 3000 gold is a pretty lame reward since you just essentially killed off the Assassin's Guild in Skyrim) I mean if you want the Blade of Woe or the Armor, you get both from Astrid when you kill her and you get the Stone of Barenziah and the Word Wall when you enter the Sanctuary to kill the others. I always wanted to be more of a goody-goody anyway (with the exception of the Theives Guild questline which is awesome)

I guess no one liked him. I don't remember anyone even talking about it. You'd think it would be the news of the day, everywhere. I would have also liked to find out what happened to Amaund Motierre after the assassination. Even if it was just an overheard bit of "news" being discussed in the towns, like he becomes the High Chancellor of the Elder Council or something.
