Some drugs that combat cancer inhibit mitosis. What effect might this have on healing times? [ I HAVE THE ANSWER ]?

ANSWER: The healing times would increase BUT COULD SOMEONE PLS EXPLAIN WHY?

    By inhibiting mitosis, you stop the process in which normal cell growth and division is made, so in this cause cells are stopped from dividing and growing because that is the objective of the drug, leading to slower healing times, that maybe well increased or partially.

    Because healing takes place by cells dividing and filling in for dead, and damaged cells. Any drug that slows mitosis would also slow healing as mitosis and cell division are the same thing.

    to inhibit means to slow down or stop. when mitosis is inhibited, your body cells cannot grow, divide, or replenish themselves. because of this, the healing times will increase
