My boy friend is asking about another girl?

So my boyfriend thinks it's funny to get me jealous-.-

He recently asked me if I knew this girl named____

I said, "yeah why"

He said, "it was nothing"

I said, "no tell me why you're asking me about another girl"

He says," because she said she knows you"

I said, "oh yeah we were like best friends in elementary"

He says, "ohhhh what"

The thing about myself is I hate confronting issues because I hate conflict but I realize that issues concerning me need to be confronted in order for things to be resolved. Idk how to feel because it doesn't feel good to have your boyfriend asking you about another girl. Although my name was brought up, still why were they talking in the first place... And I get it, I have lots of guys friends but it's irritating having your boyfriend talk about another girl. Even if it is a 'making the partner jealous' type of thing- It just makes me feel like "f*** you"
