Marine recruiter lied?

When picking the top 3 jobs I would want he said infantry wasn't available. Then today he enlisted a new kid into infantry so he completely lied to me. I got stuck with artillery and already signed the papers.. Can I change this? Also what other questions should I ask him? like bonuses and duty station maybe?

Infantry wasn't available when YOU signed. It was later opened up, and the new guy was able to get it. Your recruiter had nothing to do with it.

What would he even gain by lying to you about it???

the recruiter has no reason to lie. what was available today to sign for may not have been available the day you signed. nor does anyone have any reason to not offer you any incentives that are available that you qualify for

Don't worry, artillery does a lot of the same duty as infantry except that you will get to play with really really big guns.
