Can you feed a large breed adult regular adult food?
Regular adult dog food has a lot more flavors than large breed that usually come in just one or two. Is it okay if you feed a full grown dog adult dog food? What is the difference in the adult and large breed? Is it just the glucosamine levels? If it's just that, can't I just use a glucosamine supplement if that's a concern and they really need that much glucosamine?
Now I would never feed a large breed puppy regular food that's a whole different story. And I am also talking about only using high quality PREMIUM food like Wellness, Orijen, Blue Buffalo, Innova etc.
Thanks!

I think if you check, you'll find the only difference between the size food, is just that, the SIZE of the kibble.
Your dog should be eating a good quality dog food, one that isn't cereal-based. It should list meat, or fish, as the first, main, ingredient. And if you have a large breed who is through the main growth stage, make sure the protein level of the food isn't high. 24% is quite high enough,.
Glucosamine has been trialled recently and found to be not all it's cracked up to be.

'Flavours'.
Yeah... No
How did a friend put it? Oh yes- "A poet with a label maker" is how she described 'flavours' on dog/cat food
