Why are people cutting and pasting questions from real accounts posted years ago?

It's organized and has some purpose to someone. These new accounts post nothing but random cut-and-paste questions. Then other new accounts post nothing but answers to them. I have reported dozens of accounts, at least five questions each. Nothing happens. They are not deleted. It's getting to where I just have a feeling about a question and more than seventy percent of the time, it is a cut-and-paste.

It started with a question about eight weeks ago referencing tomorrow being Thanksgiving. I easily found the original real question from six years ago. You can find many more questions with anachronisms.

The fact that they remain means that Yahoo condones, permits, and desires such abuse. Who has time to do such a pointless activity unless they are paid for it?
