Are zombies real....?

When you see 'headlines' like that, they're either gags or something written by a 12 year old. Either way, they're not to be taken literally.

No zombies are not real, because they're not even possible. The latest zombie craze is centered around chemically-altered people, basically victims of mass poisoning. There's an imaginary chem-weapon or virus that gets released, infecting thousands and turning them into mindless flesh-eaters. But there's no such thing as a weapon (viral, chemical, whatever) that will do that much brain damage and not kill the victim really quickly. And even if thousands were infected, they wouldn't get very far. Without the ability to feel pain or respond to other basic survival needs, a zombie horde would be dead within days if not hours due to exposure, dehydration, and absolute stupidity.

There was a news story about a police / military training exercize involving a zombie apocalypse, but they weren't training for a real zombie attack. They were doing very real training, and the zombies were just thrown in for fun. They were preparing for situations involving large, uncontrollable and potentially hostile crowds, but not an actual zombie infestation. In a large natural or man-made disaster, a crowd of panicked or angry people is not only far more dangerous than a bunch of zombies, it's a very real possibility.

If zombies scare you, stay away from watching shows like Teen Mom or Honey Booboo. That's got to be the #1 way to become a zombie, in fact I think zombies are who those shows were made for!

You can ignore the religious nut. He worships a zombie in his religion and doesn't even know it. Anyway, yes zombies are very real. Sorry, I know you didn't want to hear that. But really you have no reason to fear them.

A couple of shots of rum mixed with OJ and seasoned to taste is the only way you'll ever see a real zombie. And you can't have a zombie apocalypse unless you drink way too many of them, which you can't really do by accident. Wait... you're probably not talking about the drink. Which is too bad, because those zombies are real.

You're talking about those shuffling, decomposing, cannibalistic morons that are plastered all over TV shows and video games. And no, they're not real. Hell, they're so overdone they're not even really cool anymore. And no, they can't suddenly become real.

Those headlines you read are written by zombie fans, not news outlets. There was a real news story once about a zombie apocalypse, and hundreds of people wore zombie costumes to the event (somewhere in California I think), and it was put on by a local police department. But the actual message was to get people to be prepared for a real emergency, like (just for example) a massive flood or a disease outbreak (real disease, not a zombie virus) or whatever. Preparing for a real disaster is done the same way as preparing for a zombie apocalypse, the zombies just make it more fun.

They're not real. Maybe one day there might be some sort of virus that could cause people to become Zombies but for now, don't worry.

Yes, Zombie's are very real. A lot of people do not believe but trust me, they are real.

zombies as defined by pop culture are not real...there is no disease that makes people lose their minds and eat eachother...there are however walking dead people...this is mentioned in the Gospels as well as the book of Revelation (the last book of the Bible)...after Jesus' crucifixion dead men rose up and walked for several days after He died and I believe were gone after Jesus rose from the dead...Revelation says that in the war at the end of the world, the final great battle between good and evil, not only will all people be involved but also every Christian that has ever lived will rise from their graves to join in the fight...I personally think this sounds awesome, and they won't be like eating people's brains or anything...they will be present for the battle, and then the end of the battle will likely be the end of the world...hope this helps...shoot me a message with any questions at oscarwshbrn2@yahoo.com

That victim is given powerful drugs that mimic death, buried, and dug up the same day. Once the person is declared dead, he has passed out of official existence. This is the real horror. The rest is pure fiction.

the zombie lore came from haiti. its a voodoo ritual involving powders blown at a person's face that aims to make a person a mindless slave. much like people now but instead of powders we have cellphones.

NO THEY ARE NOT --But rebel angels as demons are! Please note an encounter with demonized man & Christ Jesus:

(Mark 5:1-6)

“5 Then they came to the other side of the sea into the region of the Gerʹa·senes.

2 And immediately after Jesus got out of the boat, a man under the power of an unclean spirit met him from among the tombs.

3 His haunt was among the tombs, and up to that time, absolutely no one was able to bind him securely, even with a chain.

4 He had often been bound with fetters and chains, but he snapped the chains apart and smashed the fetters; and nobody had the strength to subdue him.

5 And continually, night and day, he was crying out in the tombs and in the mountains and slashing himself with stones. 6 But on catching sight of Jesus from a distance, he ran and bowed down to him......

7 Then he cried out with a loud voice: “What have I to do with you, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I put you under oath by God not to torment me.

8 For Jesus had been saying to it: “Come out of the man, you unclean spirit.”

9 But Jesus asked him: “What is your name?” And he replied: “My name is Legion, because there are many of us.”

DESPITE THE legion ( possibly 100 ) of demons possessing the man Christ Jesus had the power & did execrate them from the man.

BECAUSE of their murderous attitudes & actions-----

The demons begged Jesus to let them enter the pigs so they could continue to be violent as stated:

(Mark 5:11-13) “11 Now a great herd of swine was feeding there at the mountain. 12 So the spirits pleaded with him: “Send us into the swine, so that we may enter into them.” 13 And he gave them permission. With that the unclean spirits came out and went into the swine, and the herd rushed over the precipice into the sea, about 2,000 of them, and were drowned in the sea.”

Please note the herders dialogue with Christ as to their lost swine:

(Mark 5:14-16) “14 But their herders fled and reported it in the city and in the countryside, and people came to see what had happened. 15 So they came to Jesus and saw the demon-possessed man, the one who previously had the Legion, sitting clothed and in his right mind, and they grew fearful. 16 Also, those who had seen it . . .”

SUCH DEMONS existed in the situation of the flood in Noah's day--they have not changed their viciousness:

(Genesis 6:1, 2) “6 Now when men started to grow in number on the surface of the ground and daughters were born to them, 2 the ( Demon sons) of the true God began to notice that the daughters of men were beautiful. So they began taking as wives all whom they chose. . .”

Their demon offspring became giant Nephilim, Bullies!

NOTE THEIR vicious continence: :

(Genesis 6:5) “5 Consequently, Jehovah saw that man’s wickedness was great on the earth and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only bad all the time. ..... .

11/But the earth had become ruined in the sight of the true God, and the earth was filled with violence. 12 Yes, God looked upon the earth, and it was ruined; all flesh had ruined its way on the earth."
