Who "likes" Hitler because he says "Merchant of Venice" inspired him? I've never heard anyone say that.

"Merchant" is a controversial play because of its depiction of Shylock, and although many Jewish and other people recognize that it's an important play, they naturally dislike some things about it. That's understandable. Hitler may have liked that depiction, but I've never heard anyone give that as a reason for liking Hitler.
