Here is my guess; calculate the total mass needed to be lifted. Then calculate the lift - this will be the difference in mass between the mass of a volume of helium and the mass of the same volume of air that is displaced. Calculate the volume of helium where the lift is greater than the payload plus balloon.

How about supplying some figures: Such as : volume of balloon - mass of balloon- mass of payload.- pressure and temperature of the air . Then we can start trying to work out a method of solving this. If you merely ask how to do it without your data, it is very difficult.
