Ouch! It happens. With some dogs more than others. Presumably your vet gave you after-care instructions. Like feeding him soft food until the gums heal. And if she's in pain, get back to your vet for pain relief.

She isn't suppose to take pain meds, your responsibility to make her take them. Call your vet for advice. Had you provided proper dental hygiene then perhaps you wouldn't be having this problem.
