If the dinosaurs were still alive today, would gasoline be 8 dollars a gallon?
after all, oil is made out of recycled dinosaurs, right?

Well, since dinosaurs aren't individually immortal, they'd still die and we'd still have a supply of dino oil. We'd just have faster cars to get away from them quicker.
Really we probably wouldn't even have the chance to evolve into who we are so no need for the oil anyhow.
