Do you spend your whole paycheck right away?

I have part of my paycheck deposited directly into my savings account to cover my rent- it is the one bill that is always the same every single month. Half of rent per paycheck, every two weeks. The rest goes into my checking account. I first pay all bills that are due for those two weeks. I do this every two weeks. With the money left over, I use for extras- anything I want to buy or need. I will occasionally put money into my savings account to save, but I do not overspend so I usually will just keep the extra money in my checking account. That being said, with savings account deposits over time I have been able to save some money in my savings account. 32, Male
