Getting a lawyer vs going to court by myself to fight suspension on my driver license?

well first of all your life is messed up because you don't find that these things (and laws) are important. Things will get worse for you if you don't start complying.

If a license was suspended the first time and you needed to work, as in supporting your family, then you'd have to ask the judge if you can drive only back and forth for that purpose. He would say yes or no. But to continue to drive on a suspended license, well they're going to make sure you listen this time.

You'd do better if you had an attorney, maybe one appointed by the court.

sounds like you screwed up. be prepared to say you messed up and you're sorry. if you say you didn't do anything wrong, you will look like a jerk and the judge won't cut you any breaks.

don't waste the time or $$...........you violated the law, apparently several times, so just take the sentence the Judge hands out
