Would a 16" or 18" pillow look best with a 17" pillow?

I already have a few pillows on my bed that are 17" (43cm). I am looking a few new ones but they are only available in 16", 18" or 20". I know the 20" would be too big, but I'm not sure if I should go slightly bigger or slightly smaller.

What do you think?

    You are burning up waaaaay too many brain cells on this.

    Get rid of the existing 17" pillows and get two 16" and quit wringing your hands over this minutia.
