Why can't place of public decide whether transgender people are able to use the restroom without federal government interference?
This matter is a local snd civil matter nothing no form of government should be involved in.
If Bob is fine with Jeff: a Man who thinks he's a Woman using a Woman's restroom then that's his decision

Well the thing is that Jeff isn't a man who thinks he's a woman. Jeff is a woman in what is socially labeled as a man's body.
Generally, you will not see someone dressed in traditionally masculine clothes going into a womens bathroom and vise versa. Trans people live and are the gender they transition to. They are there to pee, not peep. No governments at all should be involved with this.

Er, the federal government hasn't made any decisions, you are misinformed. Furthermore, the laws you are talking about go far beyond bathroom use, FAR beyond. The one in NC has so many hidden clauses that only get teased out by studying it that it is ridiculous (among other things it strips out the right to sue for workplace harrassment or discrimination, the right for protection due to your faith, etc.) As Doctor Erika Wilson says: “The LGBT issues were a Trojan horse.” She's right.

Sometimes the federal government and/or court system must get involved to protect civil rights.
If they didn't slavery would still exist for example.

Local governments are a form of government and Bob isn't the one sharing a bathroom with Jeff. Don't know about you but where I live women do have a vote.

I have a much better idea. Why don't you transphobes learn how to mind your own business and stop your fearmongering.
Guess how many trans people have been arrested and charged for sexual assault in a washroom in the 64 years since Christine Jorgensen came Out.
I'll give you a little hint:
None.
That's right, absolutely zero. Exactly no trans people have ever been charged with attempting a sexual assault in a washroom. Every time you hear Conservatives fearmongering about trans people in washrooms, it turns out that they're lying.
Every.
Single.
Time.
Now contrast that statistic with the number of Conservatives who have been arrested for sexual assault or improprieties in washrooms since 1952.
Um, who are we supposed to be afraid of again?
