I m on deffered probation for state felony theft does the felony show on my background when applying for jobs?

    What kind of job. Sol's grocery likely just does a credit request.

    Applying to WAlMart they usually get whatever happened in court. If a case did not go to court, they do not get it.

    To get probation the case went to court.

    Applying to the police or any government job sure. They can get everything including jsut arrests where there was no court like when a prosecutor declines to charge on a fleony or yu got released without charge but was arrested.

    Your criminal history contains two segments. There is an arrest segment and a disposition segment. Being on probation means you were convicted, so it will show up.

    Unless you have the charge expunged, it will remain on your record.
