To add text wrapping to an object (a drawing or an image), follow these steps:
Create a text frame on the page.
Add text to the text frame by typing text, pasting text from elsewhere, or filling the frame with placeholder text. This text wraps around the image, so make sure that the text frame is slightly larger than the graphic frame you’ll use.
Use the Selection tool to select a graphic frame on the page and move it over the text frame.
Bounding box handles appear around the edges of the image or graphic.
Choose Window→Text Wrap to open the Text Wrap panel.
The Text Wrap panel opens.
With the graphic frame still selected, click the Wrap around Object Shape button.
The text wraps around the image instead of hiding behind it.
If you’re working with an image that has a transparent background, select Detect Edges or Alpha Channel from the Contour Options drop-down list.
The text wraps around the edges of the image.
