What does her gesture mean? Im confused?

My best friend and I dont meet up so much. Last time we met, I didnt talk much as we had a bunch of friends. We were sitting in a hotel and we were sitting diagonallly opposite to each other. When I suddenly looked at her she was sitting with her face on the table looking at me and she had a subtle smile. when I looked at her she kept that look for a second and then turned away keeping that subtle smile.

So with all this details i ve given you, what do you girls think she might have done that for? girls, clear my confusion please coz i really dont think she likes me as much
