Can someone help me write a small thank you?

I wanna write a small thank you to my pastor I stopped going to church and 2 years ago this priest convinced me to go to his church and I ve been there every since he bought me back to God. I wanna just wrote a small thank you (long story)

Can u help include these?

Keep it simple.  Along the lines of 'Dear Fathers, thank you for welcoming into your congregation.  I feel closer to God and truly connected to myself.  May your journey always be full of love and light'.  Regards, (insert your name here).
