Shampoos for damaged hair?
Hi there, so my hair seems like it's damaged. Even when I don't wash it in the morning and sleep on a satin pillow case, there are still little pieces of hair, about 1/2 inch long sticking up all over. I've even tried reverse washing (using conditioner first for about 3-4 minutes, using shampoo to wash conditioner out, then using more conditioner for about 1-2 minutes), then using a heat protection spray and blow-drying my hair against a brush and all. But it still looks frizzy and damaged. While I don't have a problem getting a hair cut, I'm wondering if anyone has tried a "damage repair" shampoo that actually did repair their hair? I've heard since hair is dead that it can't be repaired and damaged just needs to be cut off. But I want to know, has anyone who had damaged hair found a shampoo that actually did repair it?

It could be all the straightening that's making it fall out and damaging ur hair. As long as u keep damaging ur hair then nothing will repair it. U have to stop damaging it first.
Get rid of shampoo and use a cleansing conditioner. Shampoo also damages ur hair overtime and makes it dry out. My hair is so much better now that I only use a cleansing conditioner on my hair. I haven't used shampoo in years.
I second the advice to use argan oil. But buy the 100% pure oil. A small bottle will last a long time. It's great for ur hair and skin. U can then add as much as u want to ur hair and skin products. The more u put in them, the better. Dont use it in shampoo because argan works better when it's left in ur hair for a period of time & u don't leave shampoo on ur hair, so it won't be effective in shampoo. Even better if u use the oil by itself. I put it in my hair at night 3-4 times a week and I use it on my face every other night. I see the benefits, especially on my skin. It's great!
