Why didn't the Rockets just lose that game?

OKC fan here but the Rockets play sloppy as hell and deserved to lose. Horrible passing on the final two plays of the game. You have one second remaining and you throw the ball towards the other team's basket? WTF is wrong with this team?

    If you have an open teammate near the opponent's basket (in this situation), then throwing the ball in that direction is not a bad idea. It wasn't the greatest pass, but it got the job done.

    Um, Golden State played worse. Did you see that inbound play with 2.7 seconds left?
