Eat less, eat healthier things (fruits, veggies, lean proteins like fish, chicken, beans, lentils, etc.) whole grains if you'd like- that are nutrient dense. Don't eat processed foods. Half the diet should be veggies & fruits. It's okay to ease into a new diet- don't shock your body.
Eat sensible portions. Avoid sugar, drink mostly water & some tea, count calories in beverages.
Move more. Take walks, work out. Etc.
