Is this poem good?

Soldier:

The soldier stands boldly,

For someone else’s life,

Before the guns and bombs,

The risks he takes are strife

He knows what he faces

but he never leaves his post

He’s scared of the danger ahead

but still he marches from coast to coast.

He may never see another day

but he marches on anyway

Every breath could be his last,

And he could fall onto the red grass.

Fallen comrades surround him,

More with every shot.

Yet he still believes he could win,

And fight for what he believes in.

The spirit of the soldier,

Stronger than any alliance.

The spirit of the soldier,

Will keep him fighting in defiance.
