    You want the t.inv (one-tailed) or t.inv.2T (Two Tailed) function to get t from Probability and DF

    Here all t table related function in my current version of Excel

    ======== One tail Inverse to find t

    =+t.inv(probability, Degrees of Function) returns t based on probability and DF

    === Two Tailed Test Inverse to find t

    =+t.inv.2T(probability, Degrees of Function) returns t based on probability and DF

    ========Left tail test

    =+t.dist(t, Degrees of Freedom. TRUE ) returns a probability based left-tailed t and Degrees of Freedom

    ===Two Tail test

    =+t.dist.2T(t, Degrees of Freedom, TRUE) returns a probability based two-tailed t and Degrees of Freedom

    === Right Tailed Test

    =+t.dist.RT(t, Degrees of Freedom, TRUE)

    === t.test

    Note: If you are using this function, I agree that it does not give a t value or a DF value. You may have to find the composite DF value with using a formula, then t.inv(probability, DF) to find the t value

    t.test(array1, array2, tails, type)

    tails = 1 or 2

    type ( 1 =Paired, 2 = Two-sample equal variance (homoscedastic,

    3 -=Two-sample unequal variance (heteroscedastic))

    The TRUE is for cumulative (TRUE or FALSE) , You will very rarely use false that you don't want

    to be cumulative.
