    x² = 8 / 25

    x = ± 2√2 / 5

    First add 8 to both sides:

    25x^2 = 8. Divide by 25:

    x^2 = 8/25. Take square roots:

    x = ± √(8/25). Simplify:

    x = ± 2√2 / 5

    Difference of two squares:

    25x² – 8 = 0

    (5x)² – (2√2)² = 0 then a²-b² = (a-b)(a+b)

    (5x – 2√2)(5x + 2√2) = 0 then if cd=0 then either c=0 or d=0

    5x – 2√2=0 or 5x + 2√2 = 0

    5x = 2√2 or 5x = -2√2

    x = ⅖√2 or x = -⅖√2

    solving would mean finding x.

    25x^2-8=0

    25x^2=8

    x^2=8/25

    x=sqrt(8/25)
