What happen to Yahoo Answers for Mythology & Folklore and the Paranormal Phenomena.......... For where has all the decent question gone?

This is due to the people who have no knowledge or belief in paranormal, attacking anyone who dares put a post in the paranormal site. Most have had enough and left. It was good but now there are mainly a few kids and a few sceptics That suit's FU, she likes children in an unhealthy way. I didn't mean Gary k though as he does believe in paranormal on a Tuesdays and Thursdays I think. A bit contrary that one. If you look at Gary's interference there, I think he is possibly asking you for proof. Sometimes we can't tell due to him using words that are out of context and redundant in the English language. Let's face it, if you were an out of work bum with spots who's wife was screwing some other guy, I'm sure you would try and impress by sucking a dictionary.

I wonder if by now all the good questions have been asked, and repeatedly asked, that there's no new territory to explore. Of course there are always new people coming in here to ask questions, but for some reason the quality of the questions has been perhaps a bit more shallow than it used to be. Most questions seem to be completely inspired by ghost shows and popular media now. It's pretty much unheard of to have someone post a <gasp> scientific question about the paranormal here in this sub-section of Science & Math. I seem to remember in the past we used to get more of those kind of questions that were more interesting to answer.

I don't know, Kilroy, I personally cannot get enough of the sexual innuendos. I find the pictures and poems very entertaining and humorous. I believe there was something called Smutica that was increasingly gaining popularity for a time. Unfortunately, it's harder to get a pic uploaded to YA anymore, so I've heard. There's still some decent questions on here, you just have to look harder. :) Not to mention the sense of community.

My hypothesis is the way questions are overly ridiculed, which really contradicts the whole purpose of yahoo answers. Decent questions are asked by decent people. Decent people do not enjoy being around negativity where people are made to feel stupid just because they asked a question, therefore they leave. It is also hard to say how many people had a decent question they wanted to ask, but were afraid that they may suffer the same ridicule, so therefore they did not ask.

Of course the paranormal section is filled with nonsense, it's the nature of the beast, not that you would ever write anything nonsensical, hey Kilroy?

I think Yahoo Answers generally has fallen into a hole, glitch after glitch and pretty much no moderation, the more delicate participants would be frightened away in a trice by the aggression and profanities that have unfortunately become the norm in this section.

I have often asked that same question. There used to be a lot of interesting questions, but it seems to be very limited now. I would like to see people start asking questions like before. It could be that people are just sick of being insulted.

too many trolls... people only give rude snarky answers and assume you are an idiot if you ask a ghost question. instead of scrolling on to the next question they insist in imposing their beliefs (or non beliefs) on folks. keep the ghost questions coming! some of us still have an open mind :)

All the questions have no evidence to validate. Everything is "you must take my word for it" and a request for wild speculations. So there are no decent questions, never was.
