Is it worth it getting a brand new Apple Macbook Air?

So, I have an early 2009 Macbook Pro that is in terrible need of replacement. I am a home schooled high school student, so, i use my computer a lot. Is it worth it getting a brand new Macbook Air if I am going to need it to last me through my last two years of High school and through four years of college?

    sure, its likely time to upgrade

    though Im still making use of a late 2009 Macbook running El Capitan

    really depends on where yours is at

    as to what you upgrade to - whatever meets your requirements

    Yeah it should. I just got one for work, company issued, and I love it. I'm a PC guy really as my gaming rig is all windows and run my plex server and a number of other things but I do think it's great even though they are expensive.
