What's the difference between Bioscience and Environmental Science?

Anything will help, just trying to find the difference to pick the best college course for myself. Looking at doing Physiotherapy or Radiography at degree level if that helps. Any definition, difference, type of topics I'll learn, exam questions etc will help massively! Thank you!

  • As the others have said, biosciences means biology and anything related to that; environmental sciences is anything from geography, marine, atmosphere, climate, etc.

If you want to get into a medicine-related subject of any sort you'd be far better off with bioscience courses, as they're directly relevant (as opposed to environmental science ones, which aren't even remotely).

I'm no scientist, but Bio means life and Environmental refers to the surroundings.

Bio science is predominantly to do with living things.

Environmental sciences includes things like climate change.
