I would understand it if it was written the opposite way (20x^2 - 15 = 0) but not in the form that it's in now.

15 - 20x^2 = 0
-20x^2 + 15 = 0
-5(4x^2 - 3) = 0
4x^2 - 3 = 0
4x^2 = 3
x^2 = 3/4
x = ± √(3/4)
x = ± √3 / 2

rearrange the added items:
-20x^2 +15 = 0
subtract 15
-20x² = -15
Divide by -5
4x² = 3
divide by 4:
x² = 3/4
take square root:
x = √3/√4
x = ½ √3

Then just multiply both sides of the equation by -1
(-1) * (15 - 20x^2) = 0 * (-1)
20x^2 - 15 = 0
4x^2 - 3 = 0
4x^2 = 3
x^2 = 3/4
x = +/- sqrt(3) / 2
