Swollen lymph nodes(?) In armpit? Why? How?

I woke up this morning with one of my .... Armpits feeling tender and sore.i looked for a zit or something, and found a bump about the size or a penny that was not something i felt before. Later, it felt worse, so i checked again, two bumps on the top of the origional pit, and one one the bottem of the other pit! They are red (possibly from me touching them?) And very sore, and it hurts to put down my arms all the way. They feel like when you get a sore throat and your lymph nodes swell, and i know that there js lymph nodes in armpits, so is that what is causing this? Dont you have to be sick to get that though? Im feeling perfectly fine and this has never happened to me before, including when ive been sick.

Help?

    Sounds like you may be coming down with some sort of infection.

    talk to an MD, lots of things could cause it, maybe need hot compress, maybe need antibiotic, could be serious, but probably not cancerous, just the odds in your favor something less
