What does pending mean with deposits?

    Most likely you deposited a check and the funds have not been verified yet. You don't have access to the funds until the bank knows the check is good.

    That it has not completely gone through, right now it is in the process of being deposited.

    Means it hasn't hit your account yet

    It means the check has NOT cleared.,, so the money is not available for use yet
