My bf verbally abuses me whenever we get into a fight. Is this a sign that we shouldn't be together anymore?

Depends on what you call abuse, no offence though.

If he said some really unacceptable things like giving threats or implying violence, its not okay. Think of it this way, if you're planning on marrying this guy and if he can't react well everytime you guys have an argument, it'd be a disaster. For certain, you guys will argue more if married, it's normal.

If you do not wish to leave him, tell him how his attitude made you feel, be honest. If he listens and loves you, he will change for you because it hurts when you see yourself hurting someone you love even if you don't meant it.

This happens in a relationship. Both of you should be sensible, reasonable, reassuring & ready to sacrifice for each other. Sit & get all these sorted out over a cup of coffee !!
