The bus driver has zero control of how smooth the bus ride is. There are road conditions to consider and most of all, the condition of the mechanics on the bus itself. If the shock absorbers need to be replaced, that would be a reason why the bus ride feels bouncy.

Again, the bus driver and or the tires on the bus are not responsible for the bouncing you are feeling while riding on the bus.

If you sit in the middle of the bus you will feel less bumps. As said the shock absorbers may be worn which allows bouncing. You could complain to the bus company.

Either you're sitting directly over one of the wheels, or the bus needs some mechanical attention to the suspension.

It's not the driver. (Most likely.)

    It's the road surface.
