Is it possible to make a hybrid phone?

Would it work if I tried to replace a phone screen with a screen of the same size for a different phone? Would it work to replace a keyboard on a slider phone with the keyboard half of another slider phone? Also, can the camera on a phone be upgraded somehow by replacing it with the camera piece of another phone?... Or would it be all incompatible because of some sort of set programming?

It would be possible, if you have a computer engineering degree and have the time, money, and equipment and motivation to do something like this.

In short, no it isn't possible to make a hybrid phone that works.

Even if the screen is the same size, the connector is most likely different.

Not only would you have to replace the parts, but you would also have to replace the drivers and re-write the software running on your phone, along with engineering the mounts to actually fit some of the parts. All possible but a lot of hard work, and by the time your phone was up and running again it'd be outdated!
