Headers keep changing after saving? (Microsoft Word) 10 pts best answer?
I have a document with different sections. Each of the headers and footers are different for each section. After I change the header, I go back and make sure it's correct, then I save it. I have saved it several times, and each time I reopen my document, the headers are back to the original header. The footers stay different like they're supposed to. Why do the headers keep reverting back to the original? Is there a way to stop this from happening? Thank you in advance!
I've saved my work 4 different ways: command+S, File Save, File Save as and replace the file, command+shift+S and replaced the file. None have worked correctly

There seems to be only one answer. Whatever you are doing to save the document is not saving the changes.
Change the footer or header to what you want and press Ctrl-S. This should save everything.
