Is Gerber Bear Grylls Field Sharpener (31-001270) made only for thicker knives or for all types of knives? Tnx in advance!?
On this link poster said that it's only for thicker ones and some of the blades I have are really slim.

Did you actually check the marketing material for the knife? Nothing that I see distinguishes between think and thin knives. As pocket sharpeners go, it is not as good as the Smith's PP1 Pocket Pal Multifunction Sharpener and costs more.

I don't know anything about that specific sharpener. I do know that it is IMPOSSIBLE for a knife sharpener to be suitable for thick knives, but not for thin knives.
