34k miles is certainly above average mileage. However, if the seller can show proof of all service and maintenance records the Chevrolet could still have potential. A red flag, however, would be if the Cruze was a rental vehicle. If so, skip it, too risky.

As long as it has been properly maintained it should be fine! Chances are it will need new front brakes and rotors if they haven't been replaced yet in the near future. If you are buying it I would get the extended warranty and gap insurance if you are financing it. Even though the car is only one model year old, it could be at least 1 1/2 years old.

It is like any other vehicle. It depends on how well it was cared for. If the oil was never changed, then it is a crap shoot. Or as whats his name sez, like a box of chocolates, etc.
